I recently wrote an article for Illinois Family Institute about the difference between virtual school and homeschooling. It really isn’t at all the same.
Many people are confused about the two. Unfortunately you might find yourself explaining your choice to homeschool to people that you love and care about, and who also just happen to be skeptics of homeschooling.
In the article I outline three differences between the two educational options. Perhaps you can use these as talking points when confronted with uncomfortable questions about your educational choice to homeschool your children.
What are your thoughts? Are there other crucial ways that you see homeschooling and virtual schooling to be different? I would love to hear your thoughts.
Happy Homeschooling!
